Rodga i Kolmårdens skogar har en historia som kan spåras ända in i medeltiden. Under stormaktstiden utvecklades här ett centrum för segeldukstillverkning. Sedan 1600-talet har det bedrivits verksamhet på Rodga.

Den nuvarande huvudbyggnaden på Rodga säteri uppfördes under 1660- och 1700-talen. Den är av trä med stram, värdig arkitektur som är typisk för den tidens bruksherrgårdar. Huvudbyggnaden med flyglar är byggnadsminnesförklarade. Visning av huvudbyggnaden sker några gånger per år i samband med evenemang.

Idag bedrivs ett mindre lantbruk på gården. De historiska betes- och hagmarkerna hålls öppna av gårdens djur. Vi tar också eget foder till djuren på markerna.
